CRP-LA Letter to the Editor Writing Workshop

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Learn important tips and strategies to improve the chances that your message and letter to the editor get published. What are editors looking for? What makes them cry (not tears of joy)? What’s effective and impactful writing? How to craft your letter so that it does more than just appeal to readers—it inspires action?! This workshop answers these questions and also provides best practices from real newspaper editors. And if you’re writing a letter now, or want to later, and would like to bounce it off people who also have climate solution mindsets, then we’ll form feedback partners for after the workshop.
